Benevolent Orphan Ministries

Heart of the Bride is committed to serving those in greatest need according to God's heart for orphans (Jas 1:27). HOB pursues this mission in developing nations through partnership with indigenous ministry partners. Because of the overwhelming needs in the ministry locations HOB serves there are many Christian brothers and sisters caring for orphans through their own limited resources.

Like the Samaritan who interrupts his journey to assist a half dead man out of compassion there are times HOB partners or HOB staff encounter situations that cannot be ignored out of compassion for those in greatest need.  These Good Samaritan Ministries are outside of our partnership model (and requirements) and are benevolent gifts to assist, not sustain, the individuals efforts to care for the orphans.

Haiti

Heart of the Bride has partnered with churches and individuals since 2005 to provide facilities, rental housing, food, and mission teams to encourage the work of local pastors through Northwest Haiti. This benevolence continues today with Pastor Austern in Mare Rouge who cares for over 20 orphans with limited funds.

Uganda

Heart of the Bride has partnered with churches and individuals since 2008 to provide funds, rental housing, food, and mission teams to encourage the work of Mary, a Christian woman sacrificially caring for orphans, in Kampala, Uganda.
